Telephoning the Practice
When telephoning the surgery please try to keep your calls as brief as possible and if you can avoid calling during the morning for non-urgent enquiries as this tends to be our busiest time.
If you wish to telephone the surgery for test results please ring after 1.00pm. You should allow 3 to 5 days for the results to reach the practice (some test results may take longer) if any urgent treatment or follow-up is needed the practice will contact you.
Enquiries about test results ordered by the hospital should be directed to the hospital not the practice.
Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
